I’m Christine Murakami. I’m the Technology Integration Specialist for the Upper School at Columbus School for Girls. I’ve been in education since I graduated from college in 1985 and have worked to integrate computers in education since the first Macintosh computers came out in the early 1980's. Besides working with students, I love being outdoors, exercising, doing crafts, and spending time with family. When I get the chance, I love to snow ski and fly a plane. This project feeds my soul!
My name is Hannah, and I am a Senior this year. Though I have never had the opportunity to travel to St. John, I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience with OLPC. Sophomore year, I began my training with Etoys and by the end of the year, could develop my own games and curriculum for children to use. I also learned how to troubleshoot and repair computers. Junior year I wrote a troubleshooting guide and worked on developing a robot system to work with Physical Etoys as a teaching tool. I am continuing on with that work this year.
